(Prerequisites: 10-660-111, Electronics 2: Trans-Basic; 10-660-112, Electronics 3: Op-Amps-Basic; or Instructor Approval)

What will I learn?

  1. Calculate component values to set operating points of Class A, Class B, and Class AB circuits using bipolar junction transistors
  2. Calculate the voltage, current, and power gain of the three amplifier classifications
  3. Construct circuits of the three types of amplifiers
  4. Determine applications that are most adapted to the amplifier classifications
