Career Pathways Bridge Programs

Get the Skills You Need for a Great Career
Through Career Bridge Pathway Programs, you can improve your English, reading, writing, and/or math skills while you also gain job skills that can lead to a great career with good pay. Classes are part-time so you can work while going to college.
These programs are tailored for those who:
- Took an admissions exam and did not meet the program entry scores
- Are a level 4, 5 or 6 English Language Learner (ELL) student
- Don't have a high school diploma, HSED or GED®
Nursing Assistant
Nursing Assistant Certificate – Starting August 2025!
This program prepares you to perform basic nursing tasks under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse in nursing home, home health, or hospital settings. After completing the certificate coursework, you must pass the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program competency exam to become a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Medical Assistant
Healthcare Customer Service Representative Certificate – Starting August 2025!
This program prepares you to assist physicians in their offices or other medical settings. You will earn a Healthcare Customer Service Representative Certificate as you work toward your technical diploma.
Classes meet on Fridays during the day.
Welding
MIG Welding Certificate – Starting August 2025!
This program prepares students to join metal by applying heat and pressure to join metal sections together to form a permanent bond. Welders plan layouts or work from blueprints, drawings, or other specifications.
Classes meet on Sundays.
Industrial Maintenance
Industrial Technician Fundamentals Certificate – Starting August 2025!
This program is an opportunity for students to gain fundamental knowledge of manufacturing components, basic power concepts, and print reading skills.
Classes meet on Monday/Wednesday evenings.
